Collaboration:

The team recently piloted Faithful Families, an evidence-based health education program for members of faith communities to make positive changes in their nutrition and physical activity. It was developed by the North Carolina State University and is now used nation-wide. The action team piloted the program in two faith communities in 2018, and is exploring more locations in which to pilot the program. If you are a faith-based community that would be interested in learning more, please contact one of the co-chairs listed above for more information.

Volunteer Needs:

The Action Team may have opportunities for people interested in learning more about selected interventions, such as Faithful Families. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact one of the co-chairs listed above.
